Large amounts of unlicensed medications have been taken by Department of Health authorities during a search of a house in Glengormley.
A man was by department officers about unlawfully importing and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medications by means of the internet.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medicine offenses.
He will now be the topic of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was carried out by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement workplace, Peter Moore, stated: “It is essential that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medications can be hazardous.
“These types of items being sold, usually online, have gone through no quality control and there can be no assurance about their safety.
“You just do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More significantly, you do not know the effect drugs like this might have on your health.”
