Employment Authorization Document

A Type I-766 work permission file (EAD; [1] or EAD card, understood commonly as a work authorization, is a file provided by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) that supplies short-term work authorization to noncitizens in the United States.

Currently the Form I-766 Employment Authorization Document is provided in the type of a standard credit card-size plastic card improved with several security features.
